Milk and turmeric mask – take a table-spoon of turmeric powder, mix it with raw milk, form a running paste. Apply it in the part where you are facing pigmentation. Keep it for 15 minutes and wash off with lukewarm or normal water. Repeat the process daily until the problem gets solved.

Potato face cleanser – Mix potato juice with raw milk or rose-water in 1:1 ratio. Apply it on your face or the affected area with a cotton ball as a cleanser. Keep it for 5 minutes and wash it off with normal water.

Potato rice flour scrub – Take 2 table spoons of potato juice or well crushed potato paste, 2 table spoons of finely ground rice flour. Mix it well, if required add some potato juice to form thick paste. Scrub the affected area in small circular motion. Let it dry for 10 min. Wash off with normal water. Repeat it as per your scrubbing routine, not scrub regularly as that will harm your skin. Don’t forget to moisturize or continue with the next  gel massage process.

Potato and Aloevera gel massage- take Aloevera gel and potato juice in 1:1 ratio. Mix it well. Apply on your skin and massage gently. You can keep it for 15 to 30 minutes and wash off with normal water. Do it regularly.

Yogurt and tomato scrub – take 2 table spoons of fresh yogurt, take a half slice of a tomato. First apply some yogurt on your skin and keep it for some time. Then dip the slice of tomato in the yogurt and rub your skin in circular motion for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse it off with normal water. Repeat it in alternative days.

Vitamin C mask – We all know that vitamin c is the key ingredient to remove pigmentation. Take 1 Vitamin C tablet, grind it to a powder form, add 1 table-spoon of Aloevera gel and 1 table-spoon of honey to it. Mix it well and form a paste. Apply it on the affected area and leave it to dry. Wash it off with normal water and pat dry it. This will remove pigmentation and nourish your skin. Repeat it regularly or in alternative day as per convince.

Diet to remove and prevent pigmentation

As you know to have a healthy skin only applying creams or any other remedies is never enough. We have to maintain a healthy diet to look healthy and stay gorgeous. To prevent pigmentation include fruits with vitamin c like lemon, orange. Include food with vitamin A like salmon, butter, boiled eggs. Also include some milk, fish, meat to have some vitamin B12 in your diet. You can also have Sunflower oil, almond oil, spinach.

Pro tips to remove and prevent hyperpigmentation

Indian gooseberry (amla) drink – Take 1 glass of water and add 5 table spoons of Indian gooseberry juice to it. Drink regularly in the morning. If you have any physical issues consider consulting with your doctor first.

Drink a lot- To keep the skin glowing we need to keep our internal systems clean and healthy. Drink 4 to 5 liters to keep the skin hydrated and to maintain a healthy liver.

Apply sunscreen – As pigmentation is caused by sun also you should never skip sunscreen irrespective of the weather. This will prevent from further appearance of pigmentation on skin.
